We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Ward Pharmacist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional passionate about providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in a clinical ward setting. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of patients on the wards, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
  • Conduct medication reviews and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
  • Provide expert advice on drug therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
  • Provide dispensary support as needed, ensuring efficient medication management and patient safety.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacist with GPHC.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy.
  • Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in a clinical ward setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Experience with dispensary support is desirable.
