Job overview
Good Thinking is London\'s free NHS-approved digital wellbeing service for people living, working or studying in London. We provide a range of personalised advice, support and resources to help Londoners manage sleeplessness, anxiety, stress, low mood and other feelings.
The post holder will:
- Lead one or more significant projects within Good Thinking ensuring they are planned, managed, and evaluated in a timely and effective way to ensure high quality of delivery across their portfolio of projects
- Be the lead for one or more workstreams within Good Thinking and will be expected to advise the organisation and external stakeholders in the details of the programme
- Have considerable flexibility and autonomy in taking forward the overall piece of work
- Responsible for identifying and reporting on issues and risks and undertaking mitigating actions
- Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and appropriateness of data ensuring quality decisions can be made
- Take a lead for analysis and reporting of specific target areas as agreed
- Be responsible for supporting the Senior Programme Manager and Director of Programmes in the production of strategic reports and briefings as required
- Be responsible for assisting the Head of Programme Delivery and Director of Programmes in the development of the team and the setting of its strategic direction, identifying future opportunities for pan-London projects as they arise
Main duties of the job
As a Programme Manager you will be working as part of a team supporting the successful delivery of Good Thinking across the capital.
Important aspects of this role include:
- Overseeing development and delivery of projects across the programme
- Supporting the team to deliver its priorities including line management of project managers in the team
- Developing partnerships, stakeholder engagement and management
- Business development and strategic thinking
As a regional transformation programme we need to be responsive to the system\'s needs and provide high quality results for all our stakeholders. To achieve this, we are looking for someone who is skilled in:

- Masters degree level education or equivalent experience
- Further training and experience in project management and/or performance management and/or business process activity and/or experience of NHS change management processes
