Job Title:Band 7 Psychological Therapist
Grade:Band 7
Location:Southampton, Hampshire
Working Hours: 25 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Psychological Therapist to join a private hospital in Southampton, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist psychological therapy to individuals with eating disorders and complex mental health needs
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT, DBT, ACT, and MANTRA
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant professional registration (e.g. HCPC, BABCP, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in private or inpatient settings with eating disorders and mental health presentations
  • Proficiency in delivering CBT, DBT, ACT, and MANTRA therapies
  • Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
  • Previous experience in a Band 7 Psychological Therapist role
