We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team in Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care across community hospital ward sites. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the Trust.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 Pharmacist, you will act as the ward pharmacist for clinical ward pharmacy services across all community hospital ward sites. You will provide a specialised medicines optimisation service and offer expert clinical advice relating to medicines to nurses, doctors, pharmacy colleagues, and other healthcare professionals across the Trust. Your role will also involve promoting and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience in providing clinical ward pharmacy services
  • Expertise in medicines optimisation
  • Ability to provide clinical advice to a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting safe and effective use of medicines
