Band 7 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (SLT)

Acute Paediatric SLT (Band 7) in Harrow, earning £32 hourly. This is an opportunity for a dynamic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team with an ASAP Start - Ongoing contract. Based in multiple sites in Harrow, this full-time position offers flexibility with part-time hours considered for the right candidate. Dive into a role where your skills with children aged 0-5 and adolescents facing dysphagia and social communication differences come to life.

Responsibilities
  • Act as an autonomous practitioner, delivering specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to children and young people across our Acute Ward.
  • Provide critical support to premature neonates, babies, and young children in the Hospital Paediatric and Neonatal Wards.
  • Independently manage your caseload, ensuring the comprehensive address of communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, health, education, and social services colleagues, as well as engaging with parents and carers.
  • Advise, support, and supervise other SLTs working with children with complex needs in our community settings.
Qualifications
  • HCPC registration with at least two years of relevant experience.
  • A driver’s license is preferable but not mandatory.
