What You Will Do:
  • Conduct independent non‑medical prescribing clinics weekly, adapting to the service needs.
  • Provide expert advice and support to new prescribers, nursing and recovery staff.
  • Lead the development of non‑medical prescribing practices across the county with guidance from the Clinical Lead.
  • Deliver healthcare treatments and procedures, including health screenings and bloodborne virus screenings, to those accessing our services.
  • Support and train staff in managing substance use and alcohol‑related disorders.
  • Offer clinical supervision monthly and line management support in the absence of the Clinical Lead.
  • Engage with both internal and external partnerships, fostering productive professional relationships.
  • Provide a safe, evidence‑based, clinical recovery‑focused service for those using substances and alcohol.
  • Contribute to the development of service protocols and policies, ensuring they align with national standards.
