Job description

Applications are invited from commited and experienced Diabetes Nurse Specialists to join the Service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Reporting to the Lead Diabetes CNS you will:

• work collaboratively with multi-professional teams in Primary Care, Secondary Care, in the community and in all care settings (including domiciliary visits) and applies research-based practice to achieve the optimum 'best clinical practice' in diabetes care.
• act as a clinical leader for diabetes for health care workers, patients and their carers in all clinical settings.
• the role also provides clinical leadership in diabetes care by using strategies such as teaching and auditing services.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale, as above.
