Start Date:ASAP
Duration:3-6 months, with the possibility of extension
Rate:£28 – £39 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Homecare Pharmacist to join our team in Whitehaven. This role is initially for a period of 3-6 months, with the potential for a longer-term position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients within the mental health unit.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Manage and oversee homecare medication services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Up to date GPhC registration.
    • Experience in homecare or hospital pharmacy settings.
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
