  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, including reviews, mobility assessments, pain management review, functional assessment, and monitoring for postoperative complications.
  • Lead and coordinate pre‑operative orthopaedic education processes, including scheduling and booking patients into virtual education classes.
  • Support clinically on the orthopaedics wards, providing comprehensive orthopaedic knowledge to guide recovery and rehabilitation, and escalating or referring onward to Orthopaedic Consultants, Physiotherapy, community services, or other specialties when required.
  • Participate in service evaluation, audit, and ongoing quality improvement projects.
  • Be able to travel and work across sites in both outpatient clinic and ward settings, including Winchester, Andover, and Basingstoke. The post-holder will be required to work flexibly as part of a 7‑day service, with extended shift patterns ranging from 08.00 – 18.00 and extended 12‑hour shift patterns (e.g. 07.30 – 20.00) to meet service needs.
