We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Dietitian to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality nutritional care. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering wards such as the Surgical Unit and general medicine, and will be proficient in both enteral and parenteral nutrition.
As a Locum Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. You will work closely with medical and nursing staff to provide comprehensive nutritional support, particularly in the Surgical Unit and general medicine wards. You will be proficient in managing enteral and parenteral nutrition, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate nutritional interventions. Furthermore, you will educate patients and their families on dietary management, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures. You will also be involved in quality assurance activities and stay updated with the latest advancements in dietetics and nutrition.
