A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a full-time Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team at Clayponds Hospital. The role involves managing a clinical caseload and collaborating with various professionals to ensure high-quality therapy for patients. An exciting opportunity for a full time Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Gen Med Rehabilitation team at Clayponds Hospital to work in our skilled and friendly MDT. As one of the Band 6 Occupational Therapists you will be expected to carry a clinical caseload and be an active member of the multi‑disciplinary rehabilitation team.
You will work closely with the Band 7 and 6 Occupational Therapists on Jasmin and Magnolia wards to ensure we deliver a high quality Occupational Therapy input to our patients.
The successful candidate would be part of a supportive and friendly AHP team including Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dieticians, Psychology, Therapy Technicians, as well as part of a bigger MDT of our Nurses, Doctors and Pharmacists.
Jasmin and Magnolia wards are an integral part of the wider Intermediate Care team based at Clayponds Hospital. Patients have access to a variety of equipment in a large unique gym space and additional specific designated ADL rooms. Patients receive specialist therapy input until they are able to return their to preferred discharge destination.
