Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in the UK or a similar health economy.
  • Significant post-registration experience as band 5 or band 6.
  • Experience in areas: elderly rehab, medicine, orthopaedics, and long-term conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake physiotherapy assessment of patients with diverse needs.
  • Set treatment goals in collaboration with patients and/or their carers.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, modifying treatment as necessary.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and verbal English
Flexibility, problem-solving, initiative, and leadership skills
Independence and prioritisation under workload pressures
Understanding of multidisciplinary teamwork principles
Knowledge of standards of practice and evidence-based guidelines

Education

Degree in Physiotherapy
State registration with HCPC

Tools

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with relevant databases
