Band 6/7 Locum General Radiographer

Working Hours:
40 hours per week
Pay Rate: £26.00 P/H

We are seeking a skilled Band 6/7 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in Sheffield. This 3-month contract offers a pay rate of £26.00 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Friday. This position is ideal for an experienced radiographer looking to provide high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Band 6/7 Locum General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other general radiography exams. You will ensure the accurate positioning of patients, operate imaging equipment efficiently, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your role will involve maintaining patient safety and comfort, adhering to imaging protocols, and collaborating with the radiology team to deliver excellent patient care.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience in general radiography, preferably at Band 6/7 level.
  • Proficiency in operating a range of radiographic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
