A leading NHS foundation trust in the City of Westminster is seeking a motivated Band 5 Dietitian. The candidate will rotate through various clinical areas, collaborating within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities include providing evidenced-based practice, engaging in student training, and contributing to service development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have HCPC registration and a keen interest in acute adult dietetics.
This post will offer dietetic expertise to patients, carers and other health care professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate to different clinical areas within the acute caseload at King's College Hospital, providing high quality evidenced based practice. Within the acute teams we have specialist dietitians in Gastroenterology, Neurosciences, Haematology, Oncology, Liver and HPB. There will be opportunities to develop your practice by shadowing specialities within your rotation and clinical supervision. Rotations include Medicine, Surgery and the Health and Ageing unit. The post holder may also be involved in student training, service development projects and Trust wide Nutrition and Hydration initiatives. Our dietetics department expects all staff to be involved in the teaching of other healthcare professionals, in line with our mission to provide excellence in clinical care, research and teaching in King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
