Band 5 Registered Nurse in Maternity HDU and Theatres

We are looking to recruit band 5 nurses to join our existing team of experienced nurses. If you are a nurse wishing to consolidate your training then this is the right post for you. By joining our team you will have the opportunity to increase your wealth of knowledge and experience by aiding the delivery of high quality care to women and babies within our Maternity High Dependency Unit. The post holder will have a holistic approach to providing care and supporting others. The post holder will contribute to the enhancement of the care delivered whilst working closely and communicating effectively within the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have responsibility for delivering high quality, evidence based, clinical care to women and their babies within Maternity HDU, Theatres and Recovery. The post holder will develop their clinical skills, knowledge and understanding to the best of their ability in accordance with BHRUT policies and protocols.

Our patients are benefitting from our Women's Health Hub in Ilford; an Ageing Well Centre in Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospital and at St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch.

These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
