A healthcare provider in Cheadle is seeking a Band 5 NMC Registered Nurse for remote triage within community services. The role involves clinical assessment, managing referrals, and working with various healthcare stakeholders. Candidates must have a strong background in community nursing and excellent communication skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and engaging Band 5 NMC Registered Nurse, who has a distinct passion for delivering high‑quality patient care within community services. You will be joining our North Alliance LAP Service on a full‑time basis to provide remote triage of calls and referrals made to the North community nursing teams. As a triage staff nurse you will be expected to have professional and clinical knowledge of community nursing. Whilst not providing regular face to face patient contact you will need to maintain an up to date knowledge of the clinical aspects of community nursing in order to resolve clinical queries over the phone and to enable effective remote assessment and clinical triage. To ensure a high standard of care is provided, occasional delivery of care to patients in a community setting will be required to maintain up to date clinical experience. You will be based at Weaver House, Cheadle. Due to the nature of this role shifts are 7‑3 pm, 9‑5 pm or 10‑6 pm covering 7 days a week, making appropriate decisions following comprehensive remote triage to ensure the safe management, and allocation visits where needed, in response to calls and referrals received by the community nursing service.
