Overview

The band 5 clinical research nurse will support senior nurses managing the general hepatology, transplant and surgical studies portfolio. The role ensures high quality delivery of clinical trials and patient safety on the clinical trials pathway.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-commercial and commercial trials within the portfolio in accordance with GCP principles.
• Appropriately manage participants throughout the research pathway and assume administrative responsibility for allocated projects.
• Manage study and data management activities under supervision of the senior research nurse.
• Interact with multidisciplinary team members to ensure research activities are undertaken with patient safety as a key priority and projects are delivered efficiently, adhering to time and target.
• Complete trial documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate ability to manage own workload and understand clinical trial activity and GCP.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of related disease is desirable. The successful applicant must demonstrate the ability to manage workload, understand clinical trial activity and GCP, and complete trial documentation accurately and timely.
