We are seeking a motivated and dynamic full‑time Band 5 Community Nurse to work within the Integrated Care team in Brentwood and Billericay.
The Brentwood and Billericay ICT is a forward‑thinking and innovative, community‑based service that works in a fully integrated way with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, community matrons and care co‑ordinators, ensuring a holistic approach to the care of people accessing our service.

The post holder will be a Registered Nurse with experience working in the NHS. Community experience is desirable but not essential. The post holder will be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan and deliver care. The post holder will support peers and senior nursing staff and be an effective team member while working on their own initiative. They will supervise pre‑registration students and band 4 nursing assistants/assistant practitioners. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively support and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies. The role requires computer literacy as all patient records are electronic.
New starters join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive two‑week induction, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. The post is subject to a probationary period; internal applicants are exempt unless currently in probation or a bank member.
High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum £1,258 and maximum £2,122 per annum pro rata) is provided.
