Overview

An exciting opportunity has come up in the Children\'s and Families Clinical Governance Team. The Clinical Governance Co-ordinator will support the Divisional Clinical Governance Team through tasks relating to Clinical Governance and Assurance, along with administrative and a range of clerical tasks required to facilitate the improvement of clinical services across the Children and Families Division. The postholder will be based on site at Moseley Hall Hospital and will deal with time sensitive requests from internal and external departments requiring organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for the Divisional Clinical Governance Team, handling routine and non-routine enquiries, communicating relevant information to the most appropriate person in the Team, answering telephone calls, taking messages and signposting as needed.
  • Diary management, including making and changing appointments for the Clinical Governance and Assurance Manager.
  • Ensure an effective and efficient communication network with staff who report to the Senior Management Team.
  • Develop and build good working relationships with internal and external organisations.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with staff and service users, including those from other agencies, providing or receiving complex and/or sensitive information where tact, reassurance, agreement and co-operation are necessary. Handle queries relating to services on behalf of specific managers within the Senior Management Team.
  • Maintain effective professional working relationships with all other agencies, professionals, colleagues and the public who contact the department.

In accordance with UK Home Office requirements, Band 2 clinical and non-clinical roles and Band 3 non-clinical roles are not eligible for sponsorship. All non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Bands 7-9) that meet the prescribed skill level (RQF 6) and salary threshold will be eligible for sponsorship.
