Job summary

A leading IT consultancy in the United Kingdom is hiring an AWS Technical Lead for a 6-month contract. The role offers a hybrid working model, requiring a maximum of one day per week onsite in Windsor. As an AWS Technical Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, assisting with technical designs, and mentoring junior team members. Ideal candidates will have a background in building Serverless architectures, experience with TypeScript and Node.js, and a strong understanding of agile methodologies. Qualifications

• Experience in AWS technologies, particularly Serverless and Event Driven architectures.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js programming languages.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

• Participate in refining and scoping upcoming sprint work.
• Assist solution architects with technical design and breaking down complex tasks.
• Accountable for timely delivery of assigned tickets, meeting acceptance criteria.
• Conduct spikes/investigations into innovative technologies.
• Ensure teammates' work meets code quality standards through reviews.
• Coordinate with other teams for integrations.
• Work with the QA team to investigate and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior team members.

Job description

AWS Technical Lead – 6 Month contract initially. Based: Hybrid – Max 1 day per week onsite in Windsor initially (Flexible). Rate: £450 - £500 p/d (via Umbrella company).

Key Skills & Experience

• Good verbal and written communication skills and a team player.
