Job summary

A leading UK retailer in Slough is seeking an AWS IVR Engineer to manage and maintain their AWS Connect IVR solution. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with AWS and AWS Connect, and will play a crucial role in the migration to in-house infrastructure. As an AWS IVR Engineer within the Run and Operate chapter, you will help the team manage and maintain our AWS Connect IVR solution. The solution was migrated from a third party to our own AWS Connect infrastructure. You will act as the SME while working closely with the DevSecOps team that manages Tesco Mobile cloud platforms to ensure standards are followed and to cross-skill them to integrate into the BAU support service.

You will be responsible
  • Be a great teammate – live the Tesco Mobile values.

  • Work with the Chapter Lead to agree how the new in-house AWS Connect IVR solution can transition to BAU support.
  • Share knowledge with other members of the chapter.
You will need

We are looking for the following skills & experience:

  • Significant commercial experience using AWS Connect.
  • Significant experience with AWS.
  • Experience producing quality user documentation.
  • Nice to have: Experience working with Service Cloud Voice integration.
  • Nice to have: Experience writing and maintaining deployments using code (Terraform preferred).
  • Nice to have: Commercial experience with Azure.
