Avid MediaCentral/Avid MAM API Developer Media Migration

Location: UK & Europe (Germany/Poland/Sweden/France/Netherlands)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Avid MAM API specialist to support a large-scale media asset and metadata migration program within a broadcast environment.

This role is API and integration heavy and is suited for candidates who have worked directly with Avid MediaCentral/Interplay APIs, metadata workflows, and archive-to-cloud migrations.
This is not a generic MAM or support role.

Key ResponsibilitiesAvid MAM API Development

• Hands-on integration with Avid MediaCentral/Interplay APIs
• Develop and support API-driven workflows for:
  • Metadata extraction and enrichment
  • Asset registration and lifecycle management
  • Integration with QC, packaging, and delivery platforms

Media & Metadata Migration

• Export media assets and metadata from Avid MAM
• Design and execute metadata mapping and normalization
• Ensure metadata integrity and asset relationships post-migration

Archive & Cloud Workflows

• Work with DIVA Archive for archive and restore operations
• Support media transfers from AWS S3 to cloud processing platforms
• Validate transfers and troubleshoot migration issues

Cloud Integration

• Support ingestion workflows into cloud-based MAM platforms (eg. Mimir)
• Enable Proxy generation, processing, and archival into Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
