Qualifications

• Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for Audio Visual Systems.
• Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office.
• Full Clean, Valid UK Driving License required.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to provide integrated Smart Tech and AV systems.
• Install and test bespoke new systems and technology.
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve onsite issues.
• Support with customer training and documentation.

Job description

Currently seeking a talented and experienced Audio Visual Installation Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with our Design & Development team in delivering our bespoke smart products/solutions to our customers.

As an Audio Visual Installation Technician you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke products on customer sites in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Working with assigned project managers and programmers in providing complete, fully functional integrated Smart Tech and AV systems
• Install our bespoke new systems and technology.
• Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
• Be part of the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions and resolve onsite malfunctions
• Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Support internal teams with documentation
• Support with customer training
• Support internal teams with site surveys and assessments when needed

Requirements

• Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for Audio Visual Systems and Television Networks
• Hands-on experience in installing smart systems
• An understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR)
• Understand audio DSP units, basic IP network, HDbaseT Technology
• Understanding of safety guidelines
• Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office when needed, e.g. pick up equipment/tools.
• Full Clean, Valid UK Driving License
• Right to Work in the UK
