Job Description: Forward Media (part of Havas Media Network)

AV Business Director

Reporting to: Head of AV

Location: London Havas Village (approx. 3 days per week in the office)

Forward Media (part of Havas Media Network, a company in Campaign’s Best Places To Work for last 2 years running) is expanding its senior AV team and looking for an AV Business Director.

As part of the AV Leadership Team, and reporting into the Head of AV, you will be responsible for the output and delivery of your core team across a high-profile luxury portfolio client.

You will ensure that your account team are creating and delivering best in class strategic responses to brief and delivering against all audit, commercial and servicing commitments. You will also have the experience and gravitas to independently manage relationships with senior client, auditor and media owner contacts, as well as with internal stakeholders and client teams.

You will likely already be a Business Director looking to join a thriving and growing agency, or a very experienced Account Director, ready to step up into the next level of your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership of a core team of 3 - 4 people across varying levels.
  • Ensure delivery of all PRF, audit, quality, value, commercial and client servicing commitments within the client patch across linear TV, Audio, BVOD and Cinema
  • Guide and teach direct reports about what good looks like with smart, strategic responses to briefs
  • Create and deliver AV responses for new business pitches
  • Ensure accurate calculation and delivery of value in line with client and agency needs
  • Work alongside wider investment teams to manage AV delivery as part of overall media PRF commitments
  • Lead the weekly AV Buyer’s Meeting (on a rotating chair basis)
  • Work alongside the wider AV Leadership Team to support on overall team leadership, workload, management, output and happiness
  • Continued learning, sharing and development of the evolving AV landscape
Key Experience
  • Detailed understanding of the audit optimisation process
  • Experienced practitioner in AV and audio planning, buying and delivery
  • Comfortable with managing difficult conversations with clients and media owners – whilst striking the right tone to be a positive ambassador for Havas
  • Proven ability in leading and inspiring a successful AV account team
