Audit Director – Central London

A leading Top 20 accounting firm based in London is searching for an Audit Director to join their team as a key hire. The role offers a London remuneration package with the work‑life balance and exposure of a regional practice.

Overview

The candidate will take the lead on dealing with a wide variety of clients from various sectors, advising owner‑managers on both business and personal matters and acting as a trusted business adviser. You will drive revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, demonstrate broad business thinking and sound commercial judgement, and work collaboratively to suggest ideas for increased marketing opportunities with existing clients.

Responsibilities
  • Take overall responsibility for client engagement, allocating work and ensuring high‑level client service.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end audit process, including budgets, timescales and act as the RI for audit engagements.
  • Act as a trusted business adviser, providing advice to owner‑managers on business and personal matters.
  • Drive revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, demonstrating commercial judgement.
  • Work collaboratively to suggest marketing ideas and concepts for increased marketing opportunities with existing clients.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA and possess senior level experience managing a large portfolio of clients.
