A local government authority in England seeks an ambitious individual for an Internal Audit role. You will assess systems and processes across various services, develop relationships, and provide trusted advice. The role allows for hybrid working, offering flexibility to work from home while ensuring the effective operation of services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and attention to detail, playing a vital part in maintaining integrity and accountability within the council.
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our well respected and supportive Internal Audit Team, so if you are looking to progress your career in audit, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
In this role, you will work across all of the Council's range of services, critically assessing systems and processes to ensure objectives are achieved. This is a great opportunity to develop relations with business areas throughout the organisation and be a source of trusted advice.
As part of our risk based compliance programme you will focus on visiting schools and other Council and public sector partners' sites across Staffordshire - offering variety, challenge and the chance to make a real impact.
You will have an office base in Stafford, and we currently operate hybrid working, so there is flexibility for you to work from home, subject to service requirements.
