THE EMPLOYER IS: FALLS COMMUNITY COUNCIL - AMPS STUDIOAs an Audio Visual Events Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining AV technologies. You will set up and work with a variety of sound and visual resources, carry out cable testing and report any issues where they may arise. Successful applicant will be AccessNI checked.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up AV systems in a variety of locations within the St. Comgalls complex.
  • Ability to work with a range of sound and visual resources.
  • Maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Cable testing.
  • Report any faults, breakages to the assigned line manager.
  • Maintaining and organising AV Equipment and additional resources in the assigned store(s).
  • Working with other staff.
  • Communication with event organisers to ensure schedules are adhered to.
  • Liaising with FCC events co-ordinator.
  • Maintaining and updating AV equipment itinerary.
Skills and Qualifications
  • L3 in Sound Engineering or 3 years experience of working as an AV technician or a similar position.
  • Good time management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with other staff and clients.
  • Adhere to work place protocols at all times.
  • Open to training progression both in house on off site.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take instruction.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Knowledge of the architectural, cabling, and control system requirements of AV technologies.
