About Tong Leadership Academy

Tong Leadership Academy is a state‑of‑the‑art secondary school in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. Qualifications
  • Degree or significant demonstrable experience in improving attendance in a school setting.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • An understanding of the societal challenges facing young people and how these can impact on low attendance and aspirations.
  • The ability to use MS Office software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Explorer and databases.
  • The ability to prioritise, work efficiently and accurately, particularly under pressure, to deadlines and using own initiative.
