This role plays a key part in supporting Tesco Own Brand product launches through insightful data analysis! You'll also be collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders across the business, providing clear visibility on the progress of a large-scale project and helping ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gathering internal product data and external progress updates from third-party partners.
- Helping to improve the quality of external data received and systemise its usage.
- Organising and presenting this data in a clear, accessible format to support project team understanding.
- Building dashboards to assist with the management and display of key project information.
- Updating the dashboard daily to provide the business with a real-time view of progress.
- Tracking and reporting project progress against the plan on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Using visual data representations in presentations to help senior Tesco stakeholders easily grasp project status.
- Data Storytelling: Presenting insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
- Highlighting risks and deviations from the plan to enable timely interventions.
- Exploring optimal data management approaches for the team's future needs, possibly collaborating with data science to develop online tools or enhancing existing Excel/Tableau processes for a robust, end‑to‑end solution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven track record of delivery using tracking, reporting & escalating.
- Confidence in data handling & building dashboards to create clarity & understanding.
- Strong Excel & Tableau skills.
- Understanding of the product development process would be helpful, although not essential.
- Ability to organise and present complex data in a clear and easy to understand way.
- Excellent collaboration & cross‑functional working.
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate complex information clearly (verbally & written).
