A leading legal firm in Birmingham seeks experienced Solicitors to join their Serious Injury team. You will manage serious injury caseloads, aiming to maximise damages for clients while developing vital business relationships. The ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in serious injury litigation and strong interpersonal skills. We have an exciting opportunity for two Solicitors to join our Serious Injury (SI) team in Birmingham, working on a serious injury caseload. Serious personal injury has a dramatic and often life-changing impact on the affected person and their loved ones. At Irwin Mitchell, our Serious Injury teams don't just handle compensation claims; we also work closely with our clients and their families to ensure all their rehabilitation and other legal needs are met. This unique, bespoke approach truly makes a difference for those whose lives have been turned upside down by injury.
You will join the market leading Birmingham Serious Injury team, led by Partners Hilary Wetherell and Stephen Nye. The team supports and advises adults and children who have sustained brain, spinal cord or other serious, life changing injuries. The team is also renowned for its expertise in fatal accident work.
You will lead the investigation and litigation of various Serious Injury cases, aiming to maximise client damages and optimise cost recovery whilst at all times ensuring that you deliver an exceptional client experience. You will also play a crucial role in developing external relationships to enhance the team’s market leading profile and make a demonstrable impact with securing new business.
