I'm working with a young but ambitious consultancy, looking for a strong Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer to come in and lead projects. This business is 3 years old but already turning over £4m+ in two separate offices. Their plan is to double in size in the next 3‑5 years so it's a great opportunity to get onboard early. They were founded by ex‑Hoare Lea, Qoda, and Foreman Roberts Directors who specialised in building out teams and they are adamant that the business will always be employee owned. There is also an opportunity for long‑standing employees to purchase equity in the company. The practice prides itself on delivering technical excellence in MEP Design engineering. Every project is approached with creativity, independence, and a deep commitment to delivering elegant, functional, and low‑carbon solutions. With a strong emphasis on collaborative working, sustainability, and innovative design, this role will suit an ambitious individual who is passionate about making a tangible impact on the built environment.
The practice is defined by its independent, creative approach to engineering consultancy, established by a group of like‑minded engineers who chose to move away from traditional corporate structures. With a clear mission to deliver net‑zero design and leave a positive legacy, the team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and meaningful partnerships with clients. The work spans new‑builds, refurbishments, and highly sensitive heritage projects, always with a strong focus on environmental performance and design integrity.
Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
