A forward-thinking, employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to help lead and grow their Birmingham infrastructure team.

This role suits a senior-level engineer who’s confident managing multiple schemes, building client relationships, and steering a small team through planning, design and technical approval stages.

Where you’ll make an impact
  • Leading multiple residential infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring quality across the team
  • Managing project budgets, fees and invoicing
  • Developing and reviewing drainage designs, highway layouts, levels and earthworks
  • Preparing planning and technical submissions (S38/S278/S104)
  • Guiding, mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Acting as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
