Overview

Wedmore Dental Practice is independent and fully private, with a mix of fee-per-item and Denplan patients. We are now looking for a fourth part-time associate to initially cover maternity leave but with the opportunity to become a permanent associate. Start date from end December 2025 onwards.

Location

Situated in the village of Wedmore, Somerset, the practice is within commuting distance of Bristol and Taunton. There is plenty on offer in the local area including: fantastic cycling, wildlife, great places to eat and ample local cider. Our practice is in the heart of the village; we are looking for an individual who has a genuine interest in people and the community.

About the role and requirements

We need a colleague who is hard-working, willing to go the extra mile to provide patients with an outstanding level of care, and someone who will share new ideas and contribute to the team. We would prefer a dentist with 4-5 years\' experience, ideally within the private sector, but this is not essential.

Remuneration package dependent on experience. High potential earnings in affluent Somerset village. The position is for a part-time self-employed associate.

Hours

• Monday: 14:00 – 18:00
• Tuesday: 14:00 – 18:00
• Wednesday: 08:45 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00
• Friday: 08:45 – 14:30

[Notes: We are currently looking for cover during the above hours; however, not all days may require cover, and the final working pattern can be confirmed upon discussion.]

Resources and team

Digital x-rays, Software of Excellence, rotary endodontics, apex locator, intra-oral cameras, high-quality dental materials - can order additional materials to suit incoming associate, experienced and skilled local laboratories. Excellent team of receptionists and qualified nurses, hygienist support.

Compensation

Salary: Up to £200,000.00 per year, pro rata
