This is a fantastic role for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role of the Associate Quantity Surveyor

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you'll take on a senior, client-facing position, providing strategic cost and procurement advice across a diverse portfolio of projects. Their work spans the Residential, Student Housing, Education, Heritage, Commercial, Retail, and Local Authority sectors.

You'll play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion, ensuring successful delivery and helping to shape the future direction of the cost consultancy team.

Key Responsibilities of the Associate Quantity Surveyor
  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost plans and budget estimates
  • Oversee procurement strategies and contract administration
  • Manage cost control and reporting processes to ensure value for money
  • Provide high-level risk management and value engineering advice
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and lead junior surveyors, supporting career development
  • Contribute to business development and strategic planning
Requirements of the Associate Quantity Surveyor
  • MRICS accreditation in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience as an Employer's Agent is highly desirable
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
