We're supporting a leading independent building consultancy with a strong national presence and a track record of delivering high-profile commercial and public-sector projects. With a well-established Cardiff office and a reputation for technical excellence, they're now looking to appoint an Associate-level Building Surveyor to help drive growth across Wales and the South West.

The Role

You’ll take a senior position within a high-performing team, leading key client relationships and delivering a wide range of project and professional services. This includes:

  • Managing and delivering commercial refurbishment and fit-out schemes
  • Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition work for institutional investors
  • Major planned maintenance programmes and lifecycle assessments
  • Dilapidations, defect analysis, measured surveys and contract administration
  • Supporting the strategic growth of the Cardiff office, including mentoring junior surveyors and supporting business development activity

You’ll work closely with national teams while maintaining a strong local presence, supporting clients across sectors such as offices, industrial, retail, education, and public estates.

What You’ll Need
  • Strong consultancy background as a Building Surveyor
  • MRICS essential
  • Broad experience across both project and professional surveying work
  • Ability to lead clients, manage workloads and oversee multiple schemes
  • Commercially minded, with excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Comfortable mentoring APC candidates and supporting team development
