Job Overview
The Associate Asset Manager will support the Asset and Lifecycle Manager in delivering a robust and compliant asset management framework across the organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of asset data and technical documentation. The Associate will work closely with operational teams, data analysts, and compliance leads to maintain high standards of data integrity and support the implementation of ISO 55001-aligned asset management practices.
Main Duties
- Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Ensure asset data is accurate, complete, and up to date across all systems. Perform regular audits and validations to maintain data integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain and update technical records, asset registers, and lifecycle documentation in line with company and contract-specific standards.
- Support Lifecycle Planning: Assist in the analysis of asset performance and lifecycle costs to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support compliance with ISO 55001 and other relevant standards by ensuring asset data and documentation meet audit requirements.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work with maintenance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure asset-related information is captured accurately and consistently.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate reports and dashboards to support the Asset and Lifecycle Manager in monitoring asset performance, risks, and opportunities.
- System Support: Assist in the configuration, use, and continuous improvement of asset management systems (e.g., CMMS, EAM).
Education & Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in asset management, data analysis, or technical administration.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 55001, SFG20).
- Experience working in a facilities, utilities, or infrastructure environment is desirable.
