Associate Architect Job in Manchester

available with an AJ100 practice in Manchester! You will be joining a dedicated team to work on conservation and heritage schemes throughout all RIBA stages. This role offers a range of benefits, hybrid working and a salary of up to £56,000!

Our client, an award-winning practice with over 280 people across 11 UK offices, is renowned for planning, heritage consultancy, building surveying, conservation, and contemporary architecture. Founded in the 1940s, they’ve worked with public bodies, trusts, developers, and private clients, delivering sensitive restoration projects and bold modern designs in historic contexts.

Role & Responsibilities
  • To join a dedicated team to work on and deliver heritage and conservation schemes across all RIBA stages in Manchester
  • Manage and guide your own team throughout projects
  • To be involved in new business development and winning work for the studio
  • Work within a team and support Senior Associates on each project.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • AABC or RIBA SCA / CA accreditation desirable
  • Strong experience working on listed and historical buildings
  • Excellent design and technical knowledge
  • Experience in delivering projects throughout all project stages
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK building and planning regulations
  • Proven experience across all RIBA stages
  • Strong experience in business development and work winning, including bidding
  • Project management and project running experience
  • AutoCAD skills are essential, and Revit and NBS are very desirable
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
