A leading architectural practice in London seeks an experienced architect for a flexible role managing high-end residential projects across the UK and Europe. Ideal candidates will be ARB registered with at least five years' experience in post-Part III practice, providing design and project management expertise. Job Description

Uniquely balanced,well-compensated, and flexible position for an ambitious and autonomous, experienced architect.This associate-level role in an established London-based practice requires working on high-end residential projects around the UK and across Europe. The position allows for flexible working and considerate working hours. Candidates should have completed finely executed projects in lead design and project-management roles, and performed CA and QS roles for JCT contracts.

  • Salary £45,000 to £52,000depending on experience
  • Working hours 9am-6pm with one hour lunch break
  • 25 days holiday (plus public holidays)

Minimum requirements:

  • ARB registered
  • English level C1(Advanced)
  • Strong Vectorworks skills
  • Five years or more post-Part III practice in the UK
  • Thorough knowledge of JCT Contracts and administration processes
  • Fully conversant with the UK Building Regulations, Planning Policies, and Party Wall Act 1996
  • Good project running skills (with proven track record) and time management
  • Experience in the private residential sector
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to deliver a project from the detailed design stages to completion, through to snagging and making good of defects
  • Design and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client management skills and experience
