Assistant Underwriter – Property Risks – West Yorkshire

Our client is one of the region’s most highly respected insurance brokerages, fiercely independent and with a very low staff turnover and an enviable level of client retention. This is a brand new role working within their Property Team, dealing with a mix of commercial and residential property clients ranging from individual buildings to large property portfolios and associated covers. This role involves dealing with new business enquiries, managing exiting clients and full involvement in the renewal process. Ideally you have previous experience using the Acturis system.

They do have a delegated authority scheme, which you will be working on as well as accessing the composite and specialist insurer markets. Ideal applicants will have a good level of property insurance exposure gained in either a broking or an underwriting capacity, great attention to detail and be focused on providing exceptional customer service.
