Responsibilities

Working within our great family business you'll balance your passion for hospitality with the rest of your life, as we only ask you to work daytime hours. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll help support the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant located within our Garden Centre, opening only during the day and serving freshly cooked breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas.

You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to help maintain high standards across both the kitchen and front of house. You'll play a key role in supporting the team, ensuring great customer service, and helping with the smooth, efficient operation of the restaurant.

You'll support the Restaurant Manager in motivating and guiding the team, helping to maintain high standards and a positive working environment. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and hands‑on approach will make you a key part of the team—especially during busy service times—where you'll lead by example and offer day‑to‑day support to both the front‑of‑house and kitchen teams.
