A well-established property and construction consultancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their North London team. The role offers the chance to assist in cost consultancy services, supporting senior team members across residential and commercial projects. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying, and a desire to work towards MRICS chartership. Qualifications

  • Experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role for 1-3 years.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field is essential.
  • Familiar with both pre- and post-contract duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Support in producing monthly cost reports and financial updates.
  • Contribute to procurement processes and tender analysis.

Skills

1-3 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role
Good communication skills
Proactive approach
Strong interest in residential and commercial projects in London

Education

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
