We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our North West region. The main base will be from our regional office in Speke, due to the nature of the role it will involve some travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will work as part of the support the Commercial Team; surveying activities on a number of standard developments from the initial procurement phase through to final account in full compliance with the companies policies and procedures.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be involved in the below activity;

  • Compiling documentation such as site start budgets
  • Producing various reports and schedules
  • Facilitating the payment of subcontractors
  • Monitoring and control of variations and customer extras and filing
  • Maintains effective communication and delivers positive outcomes for external and internal customers

Skills, knowledge & experience

We are looking for someone who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat; they will be passionate about the building industry and have previous experience in a similar role. A high level of computer literacy in MS Office is essential, as is a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the region.

Education & qualifications

The successful candidate will either be working towards or hold the relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
