A community health organization in Paignton is looking for two full-time Band 4 Assistant Psychologists to join the Riviera Core Mental Health Team. This role involves working under supervision to facilitate psychoeducation groups, provide one-on-one client support, and develop psychological formulations. Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking to recruit two full-time Band 4 Assistant Psychologists to join the Riviera Core Mental Health Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a community mental health setting and to contribute to a psychologically informed, recovery-focused service.
About the Service
The Riviera Core Mental Health Team works with adults experiencing a range of moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The service takes a collaborative, compassionate approach and is currently undertaking training in Open Dialogue, supporting the development of relational and network-based ways of working across the team.

Working under the supervision of qualified psychologists and senior clinicians, the post holders will:
Plan, deliver and co-facilitate psychoeducation groups for service users
Undertake one-to-one work with clients, contributing to the assessment and management of risk
Support the development of psychological formulations to inform care planning and intervention
Assist with psychological assessments, outcome measures and clinical documentation
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support high-quality, person-centred care
Contribute to service development, audit and evaluation activities where appropriate
