Job description
Overview

We are seeking an assistant psychologist with an interest in supporting and improving emotional wellbeing & mental health for young people.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside two other clinicians in CAMHS within a consultation and clinical capacity to support the Kingston & Richmond CAMHS teams, the professional network, young people & families.
  • Take a lead on monitoring the impact of the work.
  • Support the provision of professional psychological care for children and young people transitioning to adult mental health services, and support clinicians involved in such care.
  • Assist in audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit or research projects.
  • Design and implement teaching and support interventions for both children/young people and their carers.
  • Support team assessments, neurodevelopmental assessments and check‑in calls for those on the waitlist.
  • Complete referrals to other services and liaise with other agencies.
  • All clinical work will be carried out under supervision and with the agreement of the post holder’s supervisor.
