A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, a degree or HND, and strong organisational skills. This role involves managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and coordinating with contractors. A full UK driving license is required, and the position offers a competitive salary between £35,000 - £45,000.

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across a variety of programmes and frameworks. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with a Project Manager to ensure robust governance, programme control, and commercial oversight across a portfolio of water‑sector projects.
You will also act as APM / PM on behalf of the client for a small number of projects delivered through Tier 2 Contractors and Consultants within established framework agreements. This is a client‑facing role that requires confidence, clarity, and strong organisational capability.
