Responsibilities
  • Production Support: Assist producers in planning, developing, and delivering high-quality showbiz and royals content across platforms.
  • Research & Fact-Checking: Source, verify, and prepare background information for stories, segments, and interviews.
  • Editorial Prep: Write scripts, briefing notes, and interview questions for presenters or contributors.
  • Talent Booking: Help book guests, contributors, and experts, while assisting with on-the-day logistics.
  • Editing Assistance: Support in logging, editing, and preparing video, audio, or written material.
  • Story Monitoring: Track breaking news, social media, and entertainment/royal trends to spot story opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure content meets editorial and legal standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with producers, editors, and social teams to ensure maximum reach and impact.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Some experience in TV, radio, digital, or newsroom production (placements or professional) would be useful.
  • Editorial Knowledge: Passionate about showbiz, celebrity culture, and royal affairs.
  • Writing Skills: Clear, accurate, and engaging writer with strong attention to detail.
  • Organisation: Excellent time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with production tools and editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar a bonus).
  • Team Player: Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work independently when needed.
