Job Summary

Miup Bangladesh Company Limited is looking for an Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance to overlook all day-to-day financial operations, purchase & supply chain, Accounts payable and variable expenses, bank operations, budgetary control, all licensing issues & permission from Governing bodies.

The individual must have hands‑on sound knowledge of maintaining QuickBooks Software and present the financial reports to Board of Directors.

The individual must have experienced working in foreign companies and handling taxation and reporting specific to foreign companies.

  • As a Strategic business partner to the senior leadership, assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and company`s long-term strategy;
  • To lead the overall financial management including forecasting, capital management, cash flow management, cost and profit analysis, assessing risk of investments and feasibility of future projects etc. to achieve company`s short and long-term financial and operational goals.
  • Handle VAT, TAX, Audit report, NBR report, FDI repot, and
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with senior management; administrator and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization`s financial status. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis.
  • Finance responsibilities to financial analysis, forecasting/ budgeting, and management reports in an accurate and timely manner; including P&L, clearly communicate daily.
  • Cash Flow, Credit, Taxation, Recovery, Banking Relations, Preparing Company Funding Plans.
  • Improving Organizational Overhead Costs in line with industry peers.
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
  • Ensure Cash Flow is Compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organizations.
  • Work with local government offices to facilitate work permits, TAX and VAT documents including customs and import/export processes. Able to devise and implement plans to mitigate the risk for a smooth process.
  • Monitor companies` legislative developments, regulatory issues, develop and implement strategic changes to maintain compliance and maximize business performance.
