Overview

We are currently recruiting for a UK-based Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to work with our experienced commercial team at our North-East office. Due to planned growth for the foreseeable future, we have an opportunity for an Assistant/Graduate to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent career prospects. The role would suit someone with experience of a QS/commercial role.

Responsibilities
  • Handling, controlling, and billing of work record sheets.
  • Preparing billing for a variation of work elements.
  • Responding to client queries.
  • Preparing applications for payment and submission to the client.
  • Identifying pricing and agreeing change.
  • Measurement calculations from both drawings and on site as required
  • Site visits and client liaison
  • Sub-contract appraisals.
  • Cost reporting.
  • Preparing detailed final accounts.
  • General Administration and any other ad hoc duties as required

  • Computer literate, with the ability to learn new software packages quickly.
  • Plenty of initiative and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
