As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our farm management across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Assistant Farm Manager to join our team, based at our Northfield Farm site. The role is farm based, so you will be working in a farming environment which can be noisy. Our farms are modern, and hygiene is of utmost importance.
As an Assistant Farm Manager, you’ll work closely with the farm management team, managing on a day-to-day basis, a modern company broiler farm. The main responsibility of an Assistant Farm Manager is for the wellbeing and performance of the livestock, although this will extend, by definition, to the up-keep and appearance of the whole site.
After you’ve applied, you’ll be contacted in due course by a Resourcing Officer at our Hereford site, to discuss your application and CV further. There’ll also be a chance for you to ask us any questions you may have about the role.
