  • Position: Assistant Estimator

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a vital role in supporting our lead Estimators in preparing, costing, and submitting tenders.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Tender Opportunity Management: Handle incoming tender calls, emails, and notices.
  • Document Review: Examine project and tender documents, collaborating with the Estimator to discuss challenges and strategies.
  • Data Management: Organise and import all documents into the Tender Docs file and create subcontractor access files in Dropbox.
  • Technical Enquiries: Issue technical enquiries and measure quantities, ensuring all information is meticulously recorded in the Settlement Book.
  • Site Visits: Arrange and attend site visits, capturing essential photos and insights.
  • Analysis & Comparison: Evaluate quotes for errors and discrepancies, producing comprehensive comparison documents.
  • Tender Submission: Compile and file all necessary documentation, ensuring seamless submission and follow-up.
Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be someone who is:

  • Currently pursuing construction qualifications, with some relevant experience in estimating or quantity surveying.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Based within an hour of our client's office in Surrey.
